Quick Answer

Yes, FedEx delivers on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Does FedEx Deliver on Saturday?

Yes, FedEx delivers to houses on weekends.

FedEx First Overnight, Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, and FedEx 2Day also offer Saturday delivery in eligible areas, with an additional fee.

FedEx Ground doesn't deliver to business addresses on weekends. Weekend pickups are available for eligible shippers.

Does FedEx Deliver on Sunday?

Yes, through FedEx Home Delivery in areas with Sunday service, although in our experience Sunday coverage seems a little more limited.

Planning a Sunday shipment? Enter your ZIP codes and shipping date in FedEx's rate and delivery-time tool to see the available options.

What Time Does FedEx Deliver on Weekends?

FedEx typically delivers to homes between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., including weekends.

“Out for delivery” means your package was scanned and loaded onto a delivery vehicle.

Weekend Drop-Offs

You can drop off packages while the store is open. Check the location's last pickup time if you need your package to go out that day.

What If a Weekend Delivery Does Not Arrive?

  1. Check FedEx tracking for an updated delivery date or a delivery exception.
  2. “Delivery now pending” means a delay has changed the expected delivery time.
  3. If delivery was attempted, follow the door tag or tracking instructions for the next attempt or available pickup options.
  4. If a U.S. delivery is delayed by at least one day, FedEx says you can start a support ticket.

Picking it up yourself? Wait until tracking says your package is ready for pickup.
